Privacy PolicyTerms of UseSupport

By using VinylCue, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or related services.

The VinylCue Service

VinylCue helps you scan or upload record images, enter barcodes or search terms, compare matrix or runout information, identify releases, estimate reference price ranges, organize a collection, export collection data, and revisit history.

VinylCue results are informational only. They are not professional appraisals, authentication opinions, grading reports, investment advice, or guarantees of market value, sale price, pressing identity, or condition.

Features may depend on network access, camera or photo permissions, subscription status, and the availability of third-party providers.

Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use VinylCue. If you have not reached the age of legal majority where you live, you may use VinylCue only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping your device, Apple account, and sign-in method secure.

Subscriptions and Purchases

VinylCue may offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases through the App Store. Apple processes payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds under Apple terms and policies.

Subscription access may depend on RevenueCat entitlement data and successful server sync. If a purchase succeeds but entitlement sync is delayed, access may appear after restore, refresh, or a later sync.

Deleting your VinylCue account does not cancel an active App Store subscription. You must manage or cancel an App Store subscription through Apple.

User Content and Scans

You are responsible for images, notes, searches, feedback, and other content you submit, and you must have the right to provide it. You grant us the limited permission needed to process, store, and transmit that content to provide, secure, and maintain VinylCue.

Do not submit content that you do not have the right to use, content that violates another person’s rights, or content that is unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive.

Exports and Sharing

Collection export can generate a CSV file from the collection data you select and open the iOS Share Sheet. You are responsible for deciding whether and where to share that file.

Once you share an exported file, the recipient and destination service handle it under their own terms and privacy practices.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not misuse VinylCue, reverse engineer service behavior, scrape at scale, bypass limits, interfere with security, or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Do not use VinylCue to make deceptive sales claims, misrepresent a record’s authenticity or condition, or violate marketplace rules.
  • Do not upload malicious content or attempt to disrupt service providers used by VinylCue.

Third-Party Services

VinylCue relies on third-party services for authentication, purchases, storage, caching, image evidence extraction through OpenRouter, and record metadata or market data through Discogs. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.

Disclaimers

VinylCue is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that results will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rocinante Venture Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or purchase decisions made using VinylCue.
